Vitamin A Revisited

In a previous Blog, I stated that adults need 3000 IU of vitamin A a day.

Wrong.

The RDA for vitamin A is 5000 IU a day.

If you want to maintain your health, 5000 IU of vitamin A, 1000 IU of vitamin D3 and 1 gram of calcium citrate is fine.

You need more if you have cancer, etc.

I recommend 10,000 IU of vitamin D3, 10,000 IU of vitamin A, and 2 grams of calcium citrate a day.

Vitamin A is toxic in high doses, but 10,000 IU is not a toxic dose.

Stay tuned...
