HIV Treatment Protocol Feedback
I just heard from Mouse Eric. His progress continues to be good.
HIV count 3720
CD4 521
Three months ago, Eric's numbers were
HIV count 7200
CD4 661

Eric has changed his protocol slightly. This is his current daily protocol.
Alpha lipoic acid, 2400 mgs
Vitamin C ester 2000 mgs
l-carnitine 500 mgs
l-glutamine 4500 mgs
l-cysteine 3000 mgs (replaced NAC)
magnesium gluconate 200 mgs
niacinamide 2000 mgs
sodium selenite 250 mcg
flaxseed oil 500 mgs
Notice that this protocol contains no curcumin, egcg, quercetin, etc. It is largely an anti-oxident protocol. Eric's CD4 counts vasilate from 550 to 650 and have done so for some time.
When Eric began working with us, his HIV count was about 220,000. Now it is 3,500. He has never been on HIV drugs of any kind. The HIV gene is extremely sensitive to oxidants, i.e. the gene is ACTIVATED by oxidants and inactivated by antioxidants. Eric's strict daily use of anti-oxidants has brought his HIV count down.
Controlling the CD4 count is another story.
Stay tuned...

Hi Steve
MarkH from the DG. Those results look excellent to me. The CD4 count looks to be in the normal range and the fluctuations are the same as for someone not infected with HIV. It looks like that with his protocol HIV is not affecting his immune system in any significant way.
dear Dr Steve, in light of this great result, and in view of the various comments about negative aspects of EGCG for HIV, are you still keen on EGCG in your protocol ?
Good question. I am keen on EGCG as I will explain in a future Blog. EGCG is the only supplement that I know inhibits the STAT1 pathway. NEF activates it. I'll explain all this soon. Quercetin is another supplement that is looking better and better as new studies are published. But anti-oxidants, probably alone, can control HIV synthesis because the HIV gene is activated by free radicals. Eric takes a ton of anti-oxidants. I am not certain that his switch from NAC to cysteine is wise, however.
I believe the EGCG and quercetin are useful for increasing the CD4 count. We'll see. I am working on it.
