Good News on HIV From South Africa

Our loyal Mouse Nick has sent us his current numbers from South Africa. He has never been on HIV drugs.

Dear Dr Martin, good results from your mouse in South Africa:

(VL=viral load)23 April VL 47,863 CD4 517 CD8 1,095

May VL 27,213 CD4 640 CD8 1,141

July VL 14,125 CD4 4832

Sept VL 15,721 CD4 496 CD8 1,354 CD3 1,917

Nov VL 5,168

Dec VL 5,446 CD4 583 CD8 1,171

Jan VL 3,063 CD4 556 CD8 1,320 CD3 1,923

I am using:

EGCG (3 grams in morning and 3 grams at night, boiled in cream)

Silibynin (similar to Sylimarin): 500 mgs in morn and 500 mgs at night, mixed in the EGCG

Nicotinamide: 1 gram in the morning

NAC: 2 grams in morn and 2 grams at night

ALA: 500mgs in morning and 500 mgs at night

L-Carnitine: 500 mgs in morn and 500 mgs at night

vit E,B,C,selenium, essential fatty acids, zinc&copper,Calcium&magnesium: 1 capsule of each per day.

I also take 3 table spoons of virgin coconut oil 3 times per day with meals.

Notice that Nick's CD4 count is completely stable as his HIV titer steadily decreases. This protocol is heavy on anti-oxidants, which inhibit HIV synthesis. The EGCG blocks STAT1, which prevents NEF and gp120 from making the disease process worse. Also, blocking STAT1 in HIV infected macrophages kills them quite quickly.

Note to Nick: Get yourself some sun. If you can make more vitamin D3 in or body, the CD4 count may increase.

Overall, very good news.

Stay tuned...
